On a foggy crag in the Highlands an old evil is re-awakening...

After thrilling punters and critics alike at the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe Festival this hit production re-animates in November for a gore-splattered Melbourne season.

Lavishly penned in iambic pentameter Macbeth Re-Arisen is an unholy coupling of Elizabethan theatre with gloriously B-grade schlock horror. Playwright/director David Mence returns the usurping Scotsman to a rotten state, a decomposing queen and a deadly confrontation that will have Shakespeare rolling in his grave…provided he can stay dead!

'Macbeth canst ne'er be slain by man nor sword
For he hath now become an Undead Lord'
